Astore is called the land of pastures in Gilgit Baltistan, and Astore Valley tour is recommended for those who want to get closer to nature. This valley hosts some of the largest pastures in the area, including Deosai, Domail, and Rama Forests.

A 7-day trip to Astore is generally ideal for exploring the valley. This region is accessible through multiple routes. To reach this valley your either have to fly to Gilgit or Skardu, or travel by road, using the Karakoram Highway.

Drive to Naran from Islamabad

Naran is located at a distance of 251 km from Islamabad and it takes 6 hours to reach this valley. However is more than just a drive, along the way you would be able to see Balakot, Shogran, Naran valley.

Naran to Astore valley via Babusar Pass

Day two starts with drive from Naran to Astore valley. The distance of this journey is 211 km and drive time is approximately 6 to 7 hours. The top tourist destination along the way are Lulusar lake and Babusar Top.

Astore Valley to Rama meadows and Rama Lake
