Day 01: Islamabad and Rawalpindi, airport-to-hotel transfer
The first day is just for our international guests. They will be taken from the airport to their hotels. If time allows, we will set up a day tour in Islamabad. We will visit these spots:
- Faisal Mosque
- Pakistan Monument
- Daman-e-Koh.
Day 02: Islamabad to Chitral and Ayun Valley.
- Travel Distance: 391 km.
- Travel Duration: Approximately 8 to 9 hours.
- Road Condition: Good. (N-45 National Highway)
- Night Stay: Ayun Valley.
Start your journey to Chitral Valley. We will travel through Lower and Upper Dir and pass through the Lawari Tunnel. This tunnel connects Chitral Valley to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.
Day 03: Ayun Valley to Bumburet Kalash Valley
- Travel Distance: 14 km.
- Travel Duration: Approximately 1 hours.
- Road Condition: Unpaved Road.
- Night Stay: Bumburet, Kalash Valley.
Will visit the following spots in Kalash Valley:
- Kalasha Graveyard.
- Kalasha Local Museum.
- Town hall.
- Joining the Kalash Spring Festival
On this Day, we will attend the Chilam Joshi Kalasha Spring Festival. This exciting event features dancing and singing. Our guests can also meet and interact with the local Kalasha people.
Day 04: Rumbur Kalash Valley, Spring Festival Day 2.
- Travel Distance: 7 km.
- Travel Duration: Approximately 20 minutes.
- Road Condition: Unpaved Road.
- Night Stay: Ayun Valley.
Day 02 of the mega festival of Kalash will feature a visit to Rumbur Valley. This valley is one of the most vibrant spots during the festival. The day will show glimpses of the tribe's daily life. Enjoy traditional music, colorful dances, and warm hospitality. By the end of the day, we will travel back to Ayun Valley for the night's stay.
Day 05: Visit to Chitral Town and its surroundings
- Travel Distance: 21 km.
- Travel Duration: Approximately 40 minutes.
- Road Condition: paved Road.
- Night Stay: Ayun Valley.
Visit the following spots in Chitral Town:
- Chitral Fort: A fort in Chitral built in 1774, located along the Chitral River.
- Chitral Museum has two main galleries: the Ethnological Gallery and the Archaeological and Kalash Gallery.
- Shahi Mosque: The main mosque in Chitral Town. It features stunning white marble and engraved art.
- View of Trich Mir: Chitral also offers a view of the highest mountain in the Hindu Kush Range, called Trich Mir.
Day 06: Return to Islamabad
- Travel Distance: 391 km.
- Travel Duration: Approximately 8 to 9 hours.
- Road Condition: Good. (N-45 National Highway)
- Night Stay: Islamabad City (for international tourists).
We will take the same route back to Islamabad City via the N-45 National Highway and Lawari Tunnel. Here, we will say goodbye to our domestic tourist. Our international guest will be taken to their hotel.
Day 07: Airport drop-off for our international guests.
We say goodbye to our international guest. We hope they enjoyed their time in the Kalash Valley and at the Chilam Joshi Spring Festival.
