This fort was built by the Raja of the Amacha Dynasty. The construction of this fort is done above a huge boulderstone, giving it the name Fong Kar, or the Palace on the Rock.

You will drive to Sarfaranga Cold Desert, which is a high-altitude desert famed for its picturesque surroundings. In the desert, experience horse riding, jeep safaris, and paragliding.

The following day, you will traverse the gravel road to Deosai National Park. On this day, you may get lucky enough to spot the endangered Himalayan brown bears in the pasture. These animals were near extinction in Deosai, but the local conservation efforts made it possible to revive their natural habitat.
