Day 01: Fly to Gilgit and Drive to Gojal Valley

Day 02: Join the Shogun Bohor Festival
Take part in the Shogun Bohor Festival celebrated each year in Gumit Gojal, Hunza. Experience a festive atmosphere as the entire village gathers at a field near the polo ground in Gulmit. Witness the Shogun tribe of Gulmit performing the rituals. It is widely believed that three brothers, Bori, Chorshumbi, and Mamut, were the first settlers of Gulmit. Each year, Bori was blessed with a successful harvest. Since then, the ceremonial initiation of irrigation in Gulmit has been performed by the Bori tribe, with the belief that it will bring a prosperous harvest.
Watch the ritual Tumang, a ceremonial ox-ploughing of the field. See the elders in traditional white attire, a distinctive round hat paired with a white overcoat woven in sheep wool. At the end of the ceremony, join the community as they sit together to enjoy the local delicacy called Semn, which is specially prepared for the festival. Day 03: Shogun Bohor Festival at Ghulkin
