Itinerary - Hunza Skardu Astore and Nagar Tour

Day 01 to Day 03: Arrival and Skardu Exploration

Our Hunza Skardu Astore and Nagar Tour begins as you arrive at Skardu Airport. On this day, explore the tranquil settings of Kachura village. Discover the pristine beauty of Kachura Lakes and Soq Valley. Uncover history at Karpocho, Shigar, and Khaplu Fort. Experience a thrilling adventure at Sarfaranga Cold Desert.

Explore the gemstone market in Skardu city, where the locals sell raw crystals of aquamarine, tourmaline, and sphene. Unveil the magnificent beauty of Deosai National Park. Observe the Himalayan brown bear in its natural habitat. Drive further to Sheosar Lake and immerse yourself in the peaceful surroundings.

Day 04 to Day 06: Astore Valley Exploration

From Day 04 to Day 06 of the Hunza, Skardu, Astore, and Nagar Tour, soak in Astore’s alpine scenery. Drive to Rama Meadows. From the meadows, hike to Rama Lake and see the Rupal face of Nanga Parbat. Cross the Burzil Pass and arrive at Minimarg and Domail. Both of the valleys are well known for their lush green landscape and verdant meadows. As you descend the Burzil Pass, the raw beauty and uncommon views of Minimargh Valley unfold before you.

Take pleasure in the untapped beauty of Rainbow Lake in Domail, where the crystal-clear waters set against a backdrop of lush green mountains look like something straight out of a fantasy movie. Explore Tarashing Valley before you drive further north to Hunza and Nagar.

Day 07 to Day 08: Nagar Valley Exploration

On Days 07 and 08, begin your Nagar Valley exploration. Hike to the Pissan Cricket Ground, which sits at an altitude of 2,591 meters above sea level. Explore Ghulmet village and hike to the famed Miacher Kho. This place offers stunning views of Rakaposhi Peak. You will also witness Nagar and Hunza once you arrive at the top.

Explore Hopper Village and hike to the Hopper White Glacier. Experience the off-the-beaten-path to Hisper Valley, one of the most remote villages in Nagar. Hisper Valley offers a true Karakoram wilderness.

Day 09 to Day 12: Hunza Valley Exploration

Begin your Hunza exploration. On day 09 of the journey, discover the rich cultural legacy at Altit, Baltit, and Ondra Forts. Explore Gojal Valley, the jewel of Hunza. Take time to appreciate the panoramic views from Ondra Poygha. From the summit, watch the Passu Cones, Gulmit, Ghulkin, and Shishket village.

Embrace a thrilling adventure at Hussaini Suspension Bridge, one of Pakistan’s most dangerous bridges. Enjoy spending quality time at Borith Lake and near the postcard-worthy Passu Glacier. Hit the Karakoram Highway to visit the Pakistan-China border. Spend your day at the dramatic Khunjerab Pass. Watch the Himalayan ibexes and marmots grazing in the nearby meadows. Return to Passu for the overnight stay.

Day 13: Fly back to your home

Fly back home from Gilgit Airport. As you take off, catch a glimpse of the towering northern mountains. Say goodbye to the fulfilling journey you just completed when you arrive in Islamabad.
