Rush Lake Trek

The Rush Lake trek is a high-altitude trekking journey in the Nagar Valley of Gilgit-Baltistan leading to the highest lake in Pakistan. Situated at an altitude of approximately 4,700 meters, Rush Lake offers panoramic views of the dramatic Karakoram’s towering grandeur, including the second-highest peak in the world, K2. Our Rush Lake Trek allows you to experience:

Thallay La Trek

The Thallay La Trek is an enchanting adventurous holiday that connects two beautiful valleys in Baltistan: the Shigar and Khaplu Valley. The journey blends vibrant Balti hamlets, snow-capped peaks, and highland meadows filled with wildflowers, providing you with the opportunity to immerse yourself in the raw natural beauty of the region. The Thallay La Trek begins from the outskirts of Khaplu. The route ascends from Balti settlements towards Thallay Broque and Dubla Khan, where you can witness the seasonal lifestyles of the local shepherds. Passing through high grazing ground filled with wild flowers, the journey arrives at Thallay La, a high-altitude ridge and pass, a natural balcony with mesmerizing view of the Karakoram skylines before descending towards Shigar Valley.

Lupghar Trek Shimshal

Lupghar Trek is a short yet rewarding adventurous journey to one of the summer pastures in Shimshal Valley. The trek is recommended for those seeking a brief adventure in the Hunza Valley. The Lupghar Pasture Trek delivers an exhilarating experience through the rugged landscape of the Karakorams. The trek allows you to take in the stunning views of some of the prominent Karakoram peaks, including the Lupghar Sar (7,200 meters), Dastaghil Sar (7,885), Mumhil Sar, and Malangutti Sar.

The Lupghar Trek begins at Dut (hanging Bridge), where the Shimshal River is crossed before ascending towards Lupghar. From Yazmis, the trail further goes deep in the dramatic canyon alongside the Lupghar Glacier. The journey then proceeds onward to Surhail and finally arrives at Gardan (neck or viewpoint), from where you can enjoy panoramic views of the valley, the Glacier and the prominent Karakoram peaks.

Dut → Yazmis → Buspurghil → Chikorin → Surhail → Gardan.

Machulo La Trek

Located in the heart of the Karakoram, the Machulo La Trek unfolds as an enthrilling journey through the beautiful yet hard terrains of the Karakoram. This trek offers magnificent views of towering peaks, including K2, the world's second highest mountain, earning it the name K2 View Point Trek.

The key highlights of our Machulo La Trek include:

The journey begins in Skardu Valley and is the shortest route to witness all five 8000ers of the Karakoram. The trek follows an ascent from Machulo village towards the first camp. As you gain elevation, you will be treated with panoramic views of Khaplu, Machulo village, and beautiful peaks. This trek also allows you to camp at approximately 5200 meters amidst the Karakoram grandeurs.

Rakaposhi and Diran Base Camp Trek

Rakaposhi Base Camp Trek

Rakaposhi Basecamp trek is a short and epic adventure in Nagar Valley, Gilgit-Baltistan. The trek concludes in just 2-3 days and is suitable for every fitness level. Beginning from a small hamlet in Nagar, known as Minipin village, the journey proceeds via a shepherd's trail navigating through pine forests before ascending towards Hapakun, the first camp of the trek. Tagaphari, the second campsite, sits directly in front of the peak.

Unlike distant viewpoint treks, the Rakaposhi base camp trek brings you next to the Rakaposhi Peak. K2 Gondogoro La Trek

K2 Gondogoro La Trek is an advanced trekking journey that offers a combination of traversing through the Baltoro Glacier, approaching the K2 Base Camp, and passing the high-altitude Gondogoro La Pass (5600 meters). The journey offers you a complete passage through the isolated central Karakoram rather than just a return back to Askole following the same route. Yazghil Glacier and Yazghil Pasture Trek

The Yazghil Glacier and Yazghil Pasture Trek is a short yet captivating adventure trek in the Shimshal village of Hunza. The light adventure is ideal for trekkers seeking a brief mountain adventure in Shimshal Valley. The Yazghil Glacier Trek offers breathtaking views of some of the towering peaks within the Karakoram mountain range.

The key features of our Yazghil Glacier and Yazghil Pasture Trek include.

  1. Trekking and crossing the Yazghil Glacier, a 20 km long scenic white glacier.
  2. Views of the Kunyang Chish (7823 meters), peaks located on Hisper Range, Pumari Chish, Yazghil Sar, and Distaghil Sar.

From Shimshal Village, trekkers follow the route alongside the Shimshal River to Yazben. After traversing the scenic white Glacier, you arrive at the Yazghil Pasture.

Snow Lake Trek - Hisper La Trek

Snow Lake Trek, also known as Hisper La Trek, is an expedition-style trekking journey deep in the Karakoram ranges. The trek offers a passage through one of the remote mountain passes found in the Karakoram. Starting from Askole and connecting Skardu, Nagar, and Hunza, the journey introduces you to the thrill of walking on the 3rd longest glacier in the world, known as the Biafo Glacier (67 kilometers). Burji La Trek

The Burji La Trek is a high-altitude pass crossing in Skardu Valley, which links the Baltistan district with the Deosai plateau. From the pass, trekkers gain commanding views of the Karakoram skylines, including K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum I, II, and other major peaks along the Baltoro region. The journey rewards you with breathtaking views of alpine setting pastures, towering mountains, and the scenic beauty of the Deosai plains. Apart from the mountain explorations, the Iqbal Top Trek takes you to the remote settlements of Skardu Valley, offering meaningful interactions with resilient mountain communities.

Shimshal Pass Trek

The Shimshal Pass Trek is one of the most promising high-altitude trekking adventures in the Hunza and eastern Pamir region of Pakistan. The trek begins in Shimshal village and takes you deep into the Karakoram mountain range of Hunza. Located at an altitude of 4,735 meters above sea level, this highland pasture serves as a grazing land for the local Wakhi community for 6 months during the summers and is also known as the Shimshal Pamir.

Due to uneven terrains, the Shimshal Pass Trek demands good physical condition and prior trekking experience at an elevation of 3000 meters. Starting from the remote mountain village of Shimshal, the trail follows the Shimshal River, passes through Garsar, Arbob-Purain, and Shujerab to reach the Shimshal Pass.

The Shimshal Pass Trek features:

  1. Amazing mountain landscape, Pamir Lakes, and high-altitude grazing lands and meadows.
  2. Views of towering peaks lying on the Karakoram ranges, including the Manglik Sar (6050 meters).
