The journey offers you a complete passage through the isolated central Karakoram rather than just a return back to Askole following the same route. Starting from Askole, following the Baltoro Glacier, the 5th largest glacier on earth, passing beneath some of the renowned peaks and towers such as Muztagh tower, Laila Peak, Trango Towers, the trek takes you deep in the wilderness of Karakoram.
