Detailed Trip Plan - Astore and Skardu Valley Tour for 08 Days.

Day 01 and Day 02: Drive to Naran Valley and then to Skardu Valley.

The first two days of the trip involves a drive from Islamabad to Naran, and then onward to Minapin Valley, from where the trek starts. Along the way, the following tourist spot lies:

  1. 1.Shogran and Naran Valley
  2. 2.Lulusar lake and Babusar Top
  3. 3.Three mountain junction points.
  4. 4.Arrival at Skardu valley.

Day 03: Skardu and Shigar Valley Tour.

  1. 1.Visit Shangrila Resort and Lower Kachura Lake.
  2. 2.Explore Upper Kachura Lake and Soq valley.
  3. 3.Explore Sarfaranga Cold Desert and Blind Lake.
  4. 4.Visit Shigar Fort, 900 old fort at Shigar village.

Activities:

  • Boating at Upper Kachura Lake.
  • Paragliding and jeep safari at Sarfaranga Desert.
  • Food stalls at Blind Lake.

Day 04: Deosai National Park and Astore Valley.

  1. 1.Visit Manthal Buddha rocks and Sadhpara Lake.
  2. 2.Enjoy you time at Barapani.
  3. 3.Exploration of Sheosar Lake.
  4. 4.Continue Driving towards Astore valley via Deosai.

To let you know about the drive time for this day, It takes 7 to 8-hours to reach Astore valley via Deosai National Park.

Day 05: Visit Minimerg, Domail and Rainbow Lake via Burzil Pass

  1. 1.Departure for Minimarg via Burzil Pass, 4 hour drive one way.
  2. 2.Exploration of Domail Valley.
  3. 3.Visit the famous Rainbow Lake.
  4. 4.return to Astore.

Day 06: Astore Valley to Rama meadows and Rama Lake

  1. 1.Drive to Rama Meadows
  2. 2.Explore Rama Lake, 1 hour trek from the meadow
  3. 3.Enjoy the view of Nanga Parbat
  4. 4.Return to Astore

Day 07: Return to Naran via Babusar top.

  1. 1.Drive back to Naran valley.
  2. 2.Enjoy your time at Babusar top.
  3. 3.Night stay in Naran.

Day 08: Drive back to Islamabad.

  1. 1.Return back to Islamabad.
  2. 2.Drop off at desired locations.
