Detailed Itinerary of the Journey
Day 01: Chitral Valley Tour - Islamabad
On the first day of the Chitral Valley Tour, we will meet and greet our guests at the airport and accompany them to the hotels. After serving the evening meal and some rest, the participants will set off for a guided tour of Islamabad city. The participants will visit the Islamabad Museum at Lok Virsa, the Saeed Pur Village, and the twin city.
To enjoy the panoramic view of the city, the travelers will drive to the highest point, known as Daman-e-Koh. The participants will drive back to experience the night life of Islamabad, and savor the traditional meal at F6/F7 Markaz Islamabad.
Day 02: Chitral Valley Tour - Swat Exploration
On this day, our participants will head towards Swat Valley, known for its lush green mountains and dense alpine forests. Swat, once the hub of Buddhist civilization, offers many archeological sites to visit. The guest will witness and learn about the 7th-century Buddha sculpture carved on a rock at Jahanabad, Swat.
Furthermore, a visit to the famous White Palace Murghazar, Mingora market, and Fiza Ghat Park will be arranged, where participants will get insights into the rich culture of the region and enjoy a beautiful sunset near the Swat River.
Day 03: Chitral Valley Tour - Drive to Chitral
On the third day of the journey, the participants will set off for Chitral. Along the way, the travelers will explore Dir Valley, renowned for local craftsmanship in producing and supplying knives across the country. They will tour local shops to witness skilled personnel in action. Continuing the journey, our guests will pass through the Loweri tunnel, which connects Chitral Valley with the rest of KPK districts. Upon arrival, participants will take a cozy night's stay at Ayun Fort.
Day 04: Chitral Valley Tour - Kalash Valley
On the fourth day of the journey, the participants will meet and explore the unique culture and traditions of the Kalasha community. Their journey will begin by exploring the Birir Valley of Kalash. The participants will then head towards Bumburet and Rumber Valleys, interacting and learning about the Kalash peoples.
Day 05: Chitral Valley Tour - Kalash Valley.
The participants will enjoy a Kalasha breakfast and continue exploring the beautiful valley. On this day, the guests will take a closer look at the unique culture of Kalash. They will visit the Kalash museum, the prayer hall, and the central graveyard. After exploring the region, the participants will leave for Ayun Valley for the night’s stay.
Day 06: Chitral Valley Tour
The day begins with exploring the Chitral Bazar, where the participants get a glimpse of local life. They will then visit the Chital Fort, located in the heart of the region, to learn about the rich history. The journey continues to the Gol National Park for wildlife observation. With a bit of luck, guests may spot the majestic Markhor. In the evening, participants will head to the nearby polo ground to witness an exciting and thrilling polo match.
Day 07: Back to Islamabad.
On this day, the participants will head back to Islamabad. They will take the same route to reach Islamabad. Upon arrival, guests will stay the night in the beautiful city of Pakistan.
Day 08: Fly Back Home
Our team will transfer the participants to the airport for their international departures. Upon arrival at the airport, the Chitral Valley Tour will come to an end.
