Baskochi Meadows Trek - Overview

The Baskochi Meadows Trek is a short scenic journey in the Upper Hunza region, known as the Gojal valley. The journey is ideal for travellers interested in scenic hikes and light adventures. The trek begins near Attabad Lake and remains accessible throughout the year. The route typically ascends from the beginning and passes a narrow trail carved through the mountain. As you hike up, each step offers stunning views of the turquoise blue Attabad Lake located just beneath the trail and the prominent Passu Cones far in the background. Furthermore, the trek also provides you the opportunity to enjoy some beautiful views of Gulmit and Shishket villages in the vicinity.

Brief Itinerary | Baskochi Meadows Trek

Day 01 | Fly to Gilgit: The participants of the trek will fly to Gilgit City, and our guides will meet them at the airport. The journey will depart for Hunza Valley via the scenic Karakoram Highway. Along the way, our guests will enjoy magnificent views of Rakaposhi Peak at Nagar Valley.
Day 02 | Hunza to Baskochi Meadows Trekking: The participants will embark on a scenic adventure to Baskochi, which begins near the Attabad Lake. Our guests will then trek the 45-minute ascent to reach the viewpoint. The day will also provide the opportunity to trek the Ondra Poyga, Ghulkin Glacier, and Passu Glacier.
Day 03 | Witness the Khunjerab Park: On this day, the participants will navigate along the Karakoram Highway to reach the highest border crossing in the world, the Khunjerab - Pakistan-China border. The travel for the day will end in Gilgit City.
Day 04 | Fly back home: Our guide will accompany the participants to the airport. The Baskochi Meadows Trek will end with bidding farewell to the participants.

Refund Policy :The refund will be processed based on the time of cancellation and services already acquired. A certain amount will be deducted from the payment such as non-refundable amount paid to third parties or amount used in acquisition of trek permits. Read more details at refund policy.

Initial Deposit, Book Now and Pay Later: To confirm the booking an initial deposit is required which is 20 - 25 % of the tour / trek price. The remaining payment can be paid closer to the trek dates or upon arrival in Pakistan.
