Itinerary - Hunza Valley Spring Tour

During spring the route to Hunza valley is different from the summer tours. Our guests will travel to Hunza valley via the Karakoram Highway. The spring route is lengthier and tourists will travel via Besham, Kohistan and Chilas to reach Hunza.

Day 01: Hunza Valley Spring Tour – Arrival at Islamabad Airport.

Viola Tours' guide will pick you up at the airport and accompany you to the hotel. After taking meals and some rest, our guests will visit the famous locations in Islamabad, including Saeed Purr village, Pakistan Monument, Daman-e-Koh, and Centaurus Mall Islamabad.

Day 02: Hunza Valley Spring Tour - Islamabad to Gilgit City or Chilas.

On the second day of the Hunza Spring Tour, the participants will start their journey to Hunza Valley via the Hazara Motor way. Lunch will be served at Bisham. After lunch, the journey will continue, and our participants will pass through Dassu, Patan, and Chilas to reach Gilgit city for the night stay.

Day 03: Hunza Valley Spring Tour – Gilgit and Hunza Valley Exploration.

On day three, our guests will explore Gilgit city, visit the Kargha Buddha, and continue their journey to Hunza valley. The participants will take a tea break at the Rakaposhi View Point Nagar. After almost two hours of driving, our guests will arrive at Hunza Valley and be transferred to their hotels for the evening meal and rest. The day will end with visiting the two famous forts of Hunza valley, known as the Altit and Baltit Forts.

Day 04: Hunza Valley Spring Tour – Upper Hunza Exploration.

On the fourth day of the Hunza Spring Tour, our participants will travel to Upper Hunza, known as the Gojal valley, for further exploration. If lucky, our guest will take part in any local spring festival if it takes place. Along the way, a short stop will be taken to witness the ancient carving of traders along the Silk Route close to Ganish Hunza.

In the Gojal valley, our guests will get a chance to explore the vibrant colors of the orchards and valleys. Also, the participants will take a short hike at Ondra Poyga Gulmit, visit Gulmit Carpet Center, Attabad lake, the Famous Hussaini Suspension bridge, and Borith Lake.

Day 05: Khunjerab National Park Trip.

The participants will further travel to the Pakistan-China Border. Our guests will pass through villages of Gojal including Passu, Khyber, Sost and enter Khunjerab National Park at Dhe.

Khunjerab is a Natural Habitat for the Himalayan Ibex, Snow Leopard, and Marmots. The guests will get a chance to witness the Flora and Fauna of this national park. Although the lower valleys begin to see grass during the spring season, Khunjerab National Park remains covered with snow.

On the way back, the participants will take their evening lunch at Sost and will spend the night at Gulmit Village.

Day 06: Exploration of Nagar Valley and Drive to Chilas.

On the sixth day of the Hunza Spring Tour, the participants will take a short trek to Hoper Glacier and visit Minapin Village. Further driving towards Gilgit City, our guests will explore Ghulmit, Sikandarabad, and other villages of Nagar.

Evening meal will be served at Gilgit City, and the participants will further travel to Chilas Valley for the Night Stay.

Day 07: Drive Back to Islamabad.

The participants will take the same road to reach Islamabad. Along the way, our guest will witness the mighty Karakoram Highway. After taking their lunch at Besham, the journey will continue on the Hazara Motor to Islamabad.

The participants will be transferred to their hotels, and we will bid farewell to our domestic guests.

Day 08: Airport Drop for International Travelers.

The Hunza Valley Spring Tour will end on this day. We will transfer our foreign guests to the airport.
